Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traveled to speak to Ukrainian forces in the Pokrovsk area on Tuesday. Zelenskyy announced that he consulted fighters at the operational headquarters of the first unit of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya zone, a town approximately 20km from Pokrovsk.

Critical Situation in the Area

Recent mapping from a national effort indicated that Russian forces had advanced deeper into the city and surrounding areas, though a large portion lacked clear dominance by both forces. The status is precarious, with updates indicating that invading units were fortifying positions and building up positions in certain areas.

Russian forces continue to advance in the Pokrovsk direction and seem to be functioning with increasing comfort within urban Pokrovsk.

Research institutes observed that defense units had recaptured substantial territory of a enemy advance in the Dobropillya direction, on the eastern flank of the Pokrovsk effort.

Kyiv's Long-Range Assaults Deep Inside Russia
